We issued two new loans today, both in Tajikistan, both women who would like to expand their livestock of cows:

- Gulsanam Nomurodova: $50
- Sitora Ahmadova: $50

Tajikistan is one of the poorest countries on earth, so thought to expand our loans in that country.

eh, and then I looked again, and the project was over 10,000$ !

I wonder if anyone would have time to write out the stories of those individuals we are helping. I mean we contributed to over -what- 200 projects, of minimum one person? Each of those have a story of how this money helped. These might be worth describing...

I can see Kiva updates the loans regularly, but it would be nice following these stories more in detail... How much does micro financing really help?
